Separation of gases

Gases can be separated by the best known method called Fractional distillation of gases

Gases include;Oxygen,Helium,Xenon,Carbon dioxide,Neon,Nitrogen,Argon, and so many other

So,in this case during separation of gases,we first remove carbon dioxide by help of adsorbent beads to prevent blockage of pipes during the process since Carbon dioxide has a high freezing point hence it freezes quickly. Then we move the remaining gases through a narrow tube but with a high pressure for the gases to heat as they go into another tank

In this tank, the gases are made to make a continuous movement until they become cool to around -200°C where they are in liquid form, but for helium and Neon, they are still gases. So in this case, they are adsorbed by help of charcoal in the tank…. The liquid is then taken to another tank,in this tank, it is heated until a gas evaporates at its temperature… nitrogen at -196°C,Argon at -186°C, Oxygen at -183°C,Krypton at -153°C and xenon at -108°C
